India TEC has announced the lists for Phase III and Phase IV products that will require India TEC (Telecommunication Equipment Certification).
- Applications for Phase III will be accepted beginning October 11th, 2021, with all Phase III products requiring mandatory certification beginning July 1st, 2022.
- Applications for Phase IV, Part One products will be accepted beginning October 11th, 2021, with all Phase IV, Part One products requiring mandatory certification beginning February 1st, 2022.
- Applications for Phase IV, Part Two products will be accepted beginning October 11th, 2021 with all Phase IV, Part Two products requiring mandatory certification beginning July 1st, 2022.
Phase IV products are separated into two parts based on India’s Essential Requirements (ER), or technical regulations. Phase IV, Part One products are based upon EMC/EMI and Safety Test Report Essential Requirements, and Phase IV, Part Two products are based upon additional parameters of Essential Requirements mandated by the Indian government.
