New China GB Standard GB17625.1-2022 Revision

In December 2022, the China government announced the following updated China GB Standard , which affects the following China CCC categories:

• Electronic Products and Safety Accessories (CCC categories 08/09)
• Lighting Appliances (CCC Categories 1001/1002)
• Household and Similar Equipment (CCC Category 07)

New China GB Standard:

GB 17625.1-2022:  Electromagnetic Compatibility Limits Part 1: Harmonic current Emission Limit (Equipment Input Current per Phase ≤16A)

• The new standard GB 17625.1-2022 replaces the previous standard GB 17625.1-2012 beginning July 1^st, 2024.
• Customers have the option of testing to the old version of this standard until June 30^th, 2024.
• After June 30^th, 2025, however, all products are required to be updated to the new standard.
