Taiwan introduced new EMC (CNS 15936) and Safety (CNS 15598-1) standards on Feb 22nd, 2022. Transition period runs until Jan 1st, 2024.

Beginning Jan 1st, 2024, all the BSMI applications must be applied with new EMC and safety standards.
Manufacturers with existing BSMI Certificates are still valid until their expiration dates. Manufacturers can start preparing standards upgrade applications six (6) months before the certificate expiration date.
